Christmas Programme 2017

It looks like it's that time of year again, to eat, drink and be merry and there is no better place to do so than here with friends and family at The Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth. Some of the highlights for Christmas will include:

Saturday 23rd December

The Victoria Quartet will accompany dinner, with the Tor Hand Bell Ringers playing in the Main Lounge from approximately 9.00 pm.

Followed by a special ‘Night At The Races’ in our Sun Lounge.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve

The Victoria Hotel Open - an 18 hole putting competition.

During the afternoon, relax and enjoy the enchanting sounds of the harp in the Sun Lounge.

In the evening, a Black Tie Champagne and Canapé Reception followed by dinner in the Jubilee Restaurant, accompanied by the Victoria Quartet. Then enjoy festive carols with the Sidmouth Town Band, while in the Sun Lounge ‘Coastline’ play until midnight.

A Champagne and Canapé Reception is followed by our wonderful traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings in the glorious surroundings of the Jubilee Restaurant, accompanied by our resident pianist.

In the afternoon, we gather to enjoy the Queen’s Christmas message in the Sun Lounge accompanied by Christmas Cake.

There will be a feature Buffet for dinner, followed in the Sun Lounge by our popular Quiz Night.

In the morning, guests are invited to join the excursion by luxury coach for a Scenic River Boat Trip.

In the evening, our Gala Black Tie Buffet is followed by our hugely popular Casino Night.

Close-up magician Dave Merlin will be showing off some tricks.

Wednesday 27th December

Wednesday 27th December

Guests can join us for a trip to Plymouth for the traditional matinee Christmas pantomime. This year the pantomime will be Peter Pan.

In the evening, the Victoria Quartet will accompany dinner, which will be followed by dancing to the resident band ‘Coastline’ in the Sun Lounge.
