30th June and 1st July | Belmont Park, Exeter

2018 Exeter Respect

Exeter Respect is the city’s annual celebration of diversity.

Performing and creative arts are used to engage the community in saying no to racism and all forms of prejudice. This wonderful event has been running since 1997, and with the communal focus being that one of the best ways to get to know someone is to enjoy yourself with them, this is a celebration of the slogan: All Different, All Equal!

The venue, Belmont Park, will be covered in beautiful decorations produced by a range of schools, community and youth projects. There will be activities and performances representing every part of Exeter’s culture, with something to see or do for participants of all ages and backgrounds.

As you may be aware, Sidmouth is not far from Exeter, nicely out the way on the coast of South Devon. Therefore The Victoria is the ideal place to stay around the Exeter Respect event. Browse our rooms and availability for accommodation options.
