There are many things for all the family to do in Sidmouth reachable by foot or within a short drive around the South of Devon.

Thorn Golf Centre
9 holes of Crazy Golf with miniature structures and intriguing hazards to make this simple putting game a little trickier and more interesting. You can also find a wealth of other golfing opportunities available here, including a driving range, a putting green and a very popular par 3, 9 hole pitch and putt course!
Peak Hill Llamas
For a truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience join a guided walking with llamas experience on the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Llamas are friendly, gentle and intelligent animals and make ideal walking companions and will happily carry your refreshments and waterproofs - leaving you free to relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
A wonderful charity that has been providing sanctuary and care for animals from all over the world for 50 years. Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary is open everyday of the year with free admission.
Pecorama & Light Railway
The railway is considered by many to be the finest 7.25 inch gauge railway in Britain, and is part of Pecorama. A ride on the railway offers wonderful views over Lyme Bay to distant Portland Bill, weaving its way through a lengthy tunnel, bridges and more. Smaller people in particular will enjoy finding the Secret Garden and exploring the Sun, Moon and Rainbow Gardens and the Shell Grotto. There are outdoor play areas too, including a pirate ship, zip wire, climbing wall and a fun crazy golf course.
Bicton Park Gardens
Spanning nearly 300 years of horticultural history, these magnificent gardens are set in East Devon's picturesque Otter Valley. The gardens combine 18th-century tranquillity with modern amenities to provide all year round enjoyment for everyone including historic glasshouses, a countryside museum, the Bicton Woodland Railway train ride, nature trail, maze, mini golf, indoor and outdoor children's play complexes, a restaurant and shop.

Beer Quarry Caves
Beer Quarry Caves is an attraction that links Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle, and The Tower of London. Literally, without this location, all of these historic buildings would not exist! The beautiful stone for these buildings was excavated here. After persistent tunnelling, this quarry has become a series of stunning underground caves, perfect for your little diggers. There are exciting exhibits, ancient documents and stone carvings that will keep everyone on their toes.
