Come when the days are getting longer, the coast is empty, and your soul is in need of recharging. Take a stroll to the tranquil Connaught Gardens or watch as the world bursts into colour as it awakens from its winter slumber. 

Sidmouth in spring is a delight to behold; the numerous majestic gardens in and around the Sid Valley are in full bloom. As the days draw out and the air begins to warm, the coast path and our beautiful countryside beg to be explored and adored.

Fresh flavours and colours adorn our plates; with herbs from our on-site garden and the finest quality produce from mere miles away, making for delectable dishes and exciting new menus.

Recently named one of the South West’s best parks and green spaces, Connaught Gardens is the perfect place to enjoy stunning views over the town from above. With its open lawns and hidden courtyards, these tranquil gardens provide a special spot to sit, stroll and relax in the spring and the long months of summer. 

The Byes:
Rolling green hills, lush spring meadows and the tranquil River Sid make The Byes a must on your spring break. Why not pack a picnic and enjoy the three mile walk from Sidmouth to Sidford? Following the sounds of the river, this gentle stroll is all about wild paddocks and butterflies especially when the spring sunshine comes to say hello.
