If you discover a fire: Immediately operate the nearest fire alarm call point. Leave the building via the nearest available escape route and report to the person in charge at the assembly point next to the tennis court in the car park. Do not use the lift or stop to collect personal belongings and do not re-enter the building until told it is safe to do so.
To test our alarm system, the bells will be sounded each Wednesday morning at 11.00am. We are sure you will understand the necessity of this and hope this will not cause you any inconvenience.
In the interests of other guests, smoking or vaping in rooms is not permitted. Your room is fitted and monitored with a highly sensitive detection system and smoking or vaping could activate the fire alarm, which may lead to the evacuation of the hotel. Please note that smoking of cigarettes, pipes, cigars and e-cigarettes are only permitted in the designated areas outside of the hotel.
Guests are requested to vacate their room by 11.00am on the day of departure. Poolside Suites to be vacated by 10.00am. Should you wish a later check out, please contact reception, although this may incur a charge. Rooms are not available until 3.00pm on day of arrival. Poolside Suites are not available until 4.00pm.
Guests are requested to settle their accounts on departure unless prior arrangements have been made to forward your accounts to your company. Cheques are accepted; however we reserve the right to use TRANSAX. This is a service provided by FIS Payments (UK) Ltd to carry out a cheque risk assessment if the cheque does not meet the approval criteria. Travellers cheques must be supported by proof of identity. The following credit cards are also accepted: Mastercard, Visa, Switch, American Express.

The management wish to inform you that our responsibility for the loss or damage to any article or articles of value whilst at our hotel is restricted to the terms of the Hotel Proprietor’s Act 1956 i.e. £100.00 per guest. All rooms have safes, however we also offer the facility for your valuables to be deposited at reception and placed into a safe. Guests are recommended to maintain their own insurance cover on the items in question as the hotel cannot accept responsibility for the valuables.

Prior to activating the baby listening please dial 0 for reception to notify us that you will be making use of this service. To activate the baby listening facility please dial *92 from the room telephone, you will hear a confirmation tone followed by silence when the baby listening is activated. Please then leave the handset off the hook.
To listen in on the room please dial *91 followed by the room number from the house phone.
On returning to your room, replace the receiver to deactivate the service.
Medical services can be contacted through reception. Unless an emergency, guests may be asked to speak to the health centre to arrange an appointment.
If you wish to make use of our laundry service, please ensure that the items are handed to a room attendant or housekeeper before 9.00am. We will endeavour to return items laundered within a 24 hour period, but this could take up to 48 hours.
Local taxi services can be arranged to pick up or drop off guests at local railway stations or Exeter airport, this is a chargeable service and dependent on availability. Car valet service available on request.
