
Apprenticeship to Head Receptionist
Since joining the hotel in October 2007, Jess’s journey has been defined by dedication, growth, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Prior to this, she completed six months on the Concord Management Programme in the bar, beginning in July 2004 - an experience that laid the foundations for a long and successful career.
Starting as a junior receptionist, Jess quickly demonstrated a strong commitment to both guest experience and her own professional development. This led to her progression into a senior receptionist role, followed by a promotion to Deputy Head Receptionist in 2015. In 2022, she was appointed Head Receptionist, a clear testament to her hard work, leadership, and consistently high standards.
Beyond her professional achievements, the hotel has also played a meaningful role in Jess’s personal life. In 2008, she met her husband here while he was working as the Bar Manager.
